Health insurance comparison services provided by the Promoter

Not be an existing customer of the Promoter;
Have provided consent for the Referrer to provide his or her details to the Promoter for the purposes of the Referred being contacted by the Promoter;
Purchase a Policy through the Promoter as part of the Promotion; and
Continuously hold the Policy for a period of 60 days from the commencement date of the relevant Policy.

Subject to these terms and conditions, if the Referred meets the eligibility criteria specified in the paragraph above, the Participants will be eligible for the Incentive.
Following the conclusion of the 60 days from the commencement date of the relevant Policy, eligible Participants will receive an email from the Promoter containing a link to, and instructions relating to the digital activation of, their applicable Incentive.
Incentives that are not activated or redeemed within 120 days after the date of the activation email cannot be re-activated, extended or refunded in any way.
The Promoter is committed to protecting personal information and agrees to be bound by the Privacy Act. The Promoter’s privacy policy detailing how the Promoter will collect, store, use and disclose personal information is available on the website www.health.compare.com.au/privacypolicy.
The Promoter may at any time verify the validity of Referred Participants and conduct all required “Know your Customer” checks, including verification of a person’s age, full name, residential address and date of birth.
The Promotion is not available in conjunction with any other promotion, and the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant from receiving an Incentive:

If it suspects fraudulent activity on the part of that Participant;
Or a breach by them of these terms and conditions;
If the promoter determines in its reasonable opinion the Participant has not acted in good faith; or
For any false or misleading conduct of any kind on the part of that Participant.

Each Incentive is not reloadable, transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If an Incentive or receipt of it incurs a tax liability, the relevant Participant is liable for payment of such tax.
Any Incentive supplied by a third party supplier is subject to the terms and conditions of that third party supplier.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the Promotion at any time without notice and without liability to any Participant or other person, subject to applicable laws.
The Promoter, (including its officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) for any theft, unauthorised access, third party interference, any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction, or personal injury (including loss of opportunity) suffered or sustained, in connection with the Promotion, the receipt, acceptance or use of the Incentive (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter or officers, employees or agents, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Incentive with another incentive of equivalent value.
The Referrer indemnifies the Promoter for any loss or claim arising out of the Referrer’s failure to notify and procure the consent of the Referred under paragraph 2(b) of these terms and conditions.
Employees and any related parties to the Promoter or its contracting third parties working directly for the Promoter are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in NSW, Australia.

How we get paid

IMG receive a payment from that fund when you join them and they pass that fee on to us. For most funds this is a one-off fee but it can also be paid in increments over several years.
Our health insurance advisors do not know how much we are paid by the fund they recommend, that is kept completely confidential from them.
Our service can be viewed as another marketing channel for health funds, but importantly you don’t pay anything extra to the health fund on top of your premium as a result of joining them through us.
